You fog up my mind,
Am I lost or found,
I’m now a hostage to time,
Like frost to the ground,
All these other girls,
I’m just watching the clouds,
I know I’m a clown,
And throw off at my mouth,
I’m just jesting,
I’m just a joker,
But there was nothing funny,
About getting closer.
My heart is stolen,
I don’t want it back,
My heart is dark,
I’m going in!
Is hope this hurts like a shark attack…?
I don’t want to con you,
With being confused,
One raised eyebrow,
That shows shame in you.
My life is a horror show,
I know this,
Running down endless corridors,
In this life sentence,
I was born for more.
You ask for flowers,
I promise you this,
From a distance,
I see a rose,
And god as my witness,
Its you. I love you.
