Simple Mindset that will Change Your Life – Guest Blog by Melisa Marzett

Everything comes from our mind, we all know that now. And in order to make our lives really outstand, we should change the way we think and the way we act. Everybody has probably read ‘The Secret’ or watched the movie. It says that you should be positive and grateful.

Yes, actually, you should, as then your life becomes brighter and fuller. But there are some more points about managing your thoughts and your life I’d like to highlight. These things are commonly known, and I’m sure you know them too. But try not only know them – make them an initial part of yourself, and they will work for you.

  • Start with being thankful for where you already are. Many simply skip this step as they focus on the desire of owing better things in the nearest future. But if you’re not satisfied with what you have, will you be satisfied with those things you want? Gladness, thankfulness and satisfaction are the state of mind, first of all. So, be thankful now for your small apartment, average paid job and non ideal partner. Love what you have- and you will have what you love.
  • Find the passion in your life, but make this choice yourself. There’s no stupider thing in life than spending 8 hours a day on the job just to make your living. Living without passion, doing not what you were meant to do devastates you and leads to numerous frustrations. So if you know what you enjoy doing – do it! If you don’t, then look for it, but make sure that you make the final choice yourself. A man with a passion in life is attractive, he lives a full life and enjoys it. Can the same be said about you?

  • Grasp every life opportunity. Use each chance to learn a new hobby, see a new place or meet new people. If you ask what to do if your life seems boring and has no sense, I’d advise you to start with this. We don’t even realize how many doors we close for ourselves by saying no, ignoring life opportunities or when we are scared to try something new. Don’t get locked in your shell, if you have questions or problems, just talk to other people, ask them and they probably will help. Our life is an interactive, remember that.
  •  Grow by doing the things you are particularly afraid of. We all are afraid of something, it’s natural. But the key difference between ordinary and successful people is that the latter have overcome the fears that held them back on the way to success. So, when you do several things you were always afraid of, your self-esteem will increase and you’ll realize that our life obstacles are not so difficult as they seemed to be.
  • Surround yourself by purposeful, positive thinking people. It’s proven that our surroundings influence our lifestyle, hobbies, way of thinking and even financial state! So, if you want to develop some qualities you feel the lack of, then communicate with the people who have these qualities. Socialize with those who love you and believe in your success, and you’ll find it easier to cope with life obstacles.

This Guest Post is Fantastic, with you all the way Paul. – Thank you!

The Most Popular Blog Topics

The laurels of successful bloggers become more and more attractive to the average man. Hundreds and thousand blogs are created, but so few of them become popular and interesting for readers. The advisors usually say that the key thing is to get determined with the blog topic and keep it. It’s also widely known that people prefer the blogs of the experts in various spheres. But what are you going to do if you’re far from being an expert and still are not determined what to write about? I can propose you several topics which are considered to be readers-friendly and proved their vitality:

  1. Celebrities. Looks like people will never stop being interested in celebrity gossip. Celebrities embody the unrealizable dreams of an average man, the dreams of being filthy rich and popular. That’s why if you keep your hand on the pulse of what is going on in your idol’s life, and present it in an interesting manner, you soon will find the readers.
  2. Self development. We are no longer surprised by the vitality of positive thinking and constant professional and personal development. For these purposes, we need someone to deliver us a new portion of inspiration or useful everyday tips that are said to make us better. This is why such blogs are popular. And if you keen on this topic and have something to say, don’t stop yourself any longer!
  3. Personal finance. Everybody can earn money. But when it comes to spending, we sometimes do the awful mistakes about managing what we earned. That’s why the topic of finance is timely as never – how to save money, how to invest, and lots of such ‘how to’s’ are always in demand.
  4. Technology. In the constantly developing world of the gadgets and new apps we look for a guide to help us to get oriented in such a huge diversity. If you feel that all these reviews and technical tips are your cup of tea, then get to it. Your hobby will be interesting for many if you’ve got something to share!
  5. Online shopping. Trade constantly moves to the internet and will continue to do so. That’s why the audience of such blogs is supposed to grow accordingly.
  6. Health. There’s a huge disproportion between the improvement of life conditions of people and growth of the number of sick people and serious illnesses. The reaction for that has become the appearance of a trend of healthier living, that becomes more and more popular. Big city dwellers are interested in knowledge how to keep fit and healthy until the long age. Maybe you can advise them something?
  7. Educational blogs. Students are always looking for an information on getting a grant, participating in exchange programs or other student activities. If you ever tried something like this, then share your knowledge.

A lot of other topics can be suggested here. But there’s one main thing about one of them – whatever you pick, write about this in your own and original way, share not only the facts, but your opinion as well. Such bloggers are always interesting for people.

Falling In Love

Falling In Love

I have finally fell in love and it is about to destroy me on this skyscrapers rooftop.

“Please, get back from the edge!” I shout at her unlistening ears. She has her arms open wide, ready to be caught by deaths grip and be auctioned off to the night at half price for her half-life. She is standing in her spotlight from the night’s sky with the idea of stepping down from her stage to end her final act. The moon is laughing at our light.

“Just look at me; just look at me… please.” The tears free fall from my face. The wind pushes against her, whispering warnings of what is to come as it makes her hair whip and dance. Gravity is the middle man within our triangle but bargaining with his power on his edge, results in death. She must remember me as she is still wearing the white dress I had bought her, if she only she took my arm and we take off to pursue life together again, hand in hand before death do us part. Her heart is cheating beats which is slowly killing her, this is the reasoning behind us being here.

“What will I do if you do this?” I ask her. “You will go on without me.” She replies calmly. This is a nightmare. “But the best dreams happen in real life; don’t you want to be part of that?” She turns her head to the misty rain that has begun to lie upon the horizon making everything distort, life is bleaker than the weather.

“If you do this, food will taste like it has been poisoned, water will seem dry and time will have no hands to save you.” She adds to the rain with her tears.

“Life is like a strand of hair, it can be as long as you want or as short as you need it, isn’t that my decision?” She says quietly to the wind. “In sickness or in Health… I said those words to you and you alone; I never backed away from what I pledged!” I plead to her emotions. So why is this happening. I look at my phone thinking about dialing for help but it is already too late. Love is the killer to the heart, not the sword or arrow but used as a weapon against itself.

“We can get the help, the doctor said there was still time.” I say almost giving up. Whoso findeth a wife, findeth a good thing, but bad things soon follow. I throw my sight to the floor, collapsed eyelids and all.

“Come with me.” She wind-whispers to me, I don’t make eye contact; searching for a new answer to our old problem. Thunder murmurs from behind the black clouds which are passing over head. Weather calls for extreme conditions; angels will fall as the world sits by and listens. I nod slowly, holding back the right thing to say. She holds out the hand I have always held, I walk over and take hold, bringing myself up to her new level of living. I look down, the streets seem like mazes for mice and the people are going about their business, unknowingly.

“We shall take on death together.” I say to her, brushing her hair behind her ear. She wraps her arms around me and presses her head against my chest. “I love you so much. Whither thou goest I will go. That is my purpose.” She says. The destruction of my world is true love I gift upon you, dismantling my heart and sharing the pieces equally between us, who could want more? “I love you too.” I say. We tilt to the side within a deep breath of one another. We fall, still gazing into the eyes we wake up to each morning. It still puts a smile on my face. The roar and scorn of the wind rages passed our ear.

“Any regrets?!” I shout. “Not loving you longer.” She replies. Kissing me as the ground creeps closer. This is how you fall into love.

(Thanks for reading. It was an epic story, wasn’t it?)

Keeping my pen busy….
