Here we have it PART 4 of An Epic Duet: The Beautiful, the Bad and the Psychotic. Like I have stated to my wonderful writing partner in crime, this is my favourite poem as I love the formation of the words in both verses and also the wordplay. So read, enjoy and click the like button.

The Beautiful, the Bad and the Psychotic

Part 4

Alex & Just Patty

I have a hair-raising defiance,

Air-raid sirens,

Partners in crime,

For all of time,

We could be two blood diamonds,

This world can’t find us,

I’m hurtling a quiet riot,

You’re quite right,

I have lost my mind,

The bad memories have me lost in time,

Eating ice with a frostbite,

This foreigner has crossed the line,

Feeling fine,

Deep in fire,

Sleeping wild,

Keep in time,

I’m dancing to my words,

They call me cuckoo,

But I’m only an angry bird,

Who knew?

It wasn’t a bang on the head,

Sanity,

I’m hanging on by a thread,

You too?

I have a maddening pride

Soft whispering

Work together as one

Until we become undone

We could be two innocent diamonds

This world will hide us

I’m singing with the vultures

You’re so wrong

You are just lost

Memories have you lost in time

But I will find you

This guide has messed you up

Feelings stop

Deep in water

Drowning silently

Stay in line

I’m dancing on the moon

They call me crazy

But I am only a free spirit

I knew

Sometime the world shifts beneath our feet

Sanity

It’s not something you really need

Do you?

The Beautiful, the Bad and the Psychotic

Part 3

Alex & Just Patty

It’s the end of the world,

Bring out your dead,

Pick your weapon of choice,

Mine will be this pen.

Suffocate in the clouds,

Misery loves company,

Come with me, sail away,

Take away the mountains which live under me.

Now into a deep blackhole I go,

Where we relinquish all control,

Feed your inner monsters with your own limbs,

Won’t you please give me back my soul?

I’m at the end of the line,

And you have crossed me,

A slight break in freedom,

I’m crawling on my belly mostly,

I’ve took my bruises,

I’ve took my lumps,

When you’re down on your luck and losing,

Now, the only way is up!

It’s the beginning of a fight

Take a deep breath

And ready your sword

Drifting on clouds

To new destinations

Come with me, sail away

To a brand new place, where we can be free

Take a leap of faith

And take control

Scare away your inner demons with joy

Will you please just smile?

I’m at the beginning of the line

And you have to come with me

A outburst of freedom

Standing up, never breaking down

I have my scars

I have my wounds

When you hit rock bottom

Now, the only way is up!

My Lost Movie Poetry

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

So as you guys know I have been writing with the wonderful Just Patty on some poetry. In this post lies the lost poetry which never made the final-cut. Oh and look out for the movie poem I wrote in here too, I hope you enjoy!

My Lost Poetry

You tremble like you’ve seen a ghost,

Strangle this pencil until you’ve seen it broke,

Angle this metal around my throat,

Angry heckles cheer me and goad,

The blood floods as a tap-dancing spectacle,

Fee-Fi-Foe-Fum; here I come,

Trampling on all of you speckles,

Top gear, can’t stop here,

Forgotten voice and a lost ear,

Dumb,

Broken toys and stolen tears,

Young,

Frozen poise with lonely years,

Numb,

I’m a chocking noise, coughing clear,

Stun,

I’m faced with a frightening facial facelift which leaves me faceless, let’s face it,

A fascist facade merely frames him.

You fondle my trigger,

You eat this blast,

Gobbled up forever,

Re-tweet your last gasps,

I’m what you call a wonder weapon,

A wandering apex predator, Dexter,

I love safe sex, I always bring protection,

Loving face kisses then I bring upon the reckoning.

From 8 Mile to the Green Mile,

Tonight is Date Night,

Upon the Jewel of the Nile,

Superman, take flight,

It’s a Dark Knight,

That’s right, Pitch Black,

We’re on a Star Trek towards a Star Wars,

Resistance is Futile,

The time is Twilight,

I have A History of violence,

I’ve got my Goal set in my sights,

My Event Horizon,

Cannibals in space,

An Animal Rat Race,

Mallrats in the Bat-cave,

Battleships on a rampage,

Misery hates a blank page,

A Mammoth heading for an Ice Age,

Frozen,

Indiana Jones on a bad day,

Godfather kissing me on the hand,

Jot in my Vampire Diary,

Jurassic Park theme park rides all day,

Are we there yet?

I will never be Grown-up,

I can’t stop laughing.

Out of Sight,

Out of Mind,

Good Will Hunting with words,

Well, I’m out of mine,

So you can’t see me, right?

The Beautiful, the Bad and the Psychotic

Part 2

Alex & Just Patty

I’m losing my train of thought,

I’m coming off the tracks,

My contaminating cause is lost,

When everything is turned to black,

But with the lights out, it’s less dangerous,

And with this god-like power of poetry,

I find out that we’re all brainless,

Poverty and loneliness, I can’t contain this,

My emotions now are purely naked,

My life is utterly shambolic and shameless.

Type over the moon and scribble out these stars,

Will write for food, can’t you see my rib bars?

I’m filling up on philosophical words,

Scoffing all this hurt; turn the oven up, the heat helps,

If lovers come they get burnt,

My words are the corruptors of worlds,

I’ll have you stuck in reverse,

A wondrously strung verse,

Understood, it’s understandably coheres,

My meaning means nothing if it’s not forced head first.

See through my eye of the blackest storm,

Can you hear that barking guard-dog?

I’m coming at you all as a dark horse or a shark with killer claws,

Putting your smiles to bed until your laughs lost,

Sanity, it won’t last long, so back off,

I have hacksaws, gasoline and a matchbox.

No light lives here,

Born to fight or disappear,

Wishing you were here,

Where history belittles me,

Cities sights within me,

Now I’m in open flight over the sides I fly,

Downwards I drive; gentle gravity has little interest in me.

The road to your destination

Is one hell of a bumpy ride

Keep pushing forward without hesitation

Even in the most darkest nights

The moon will guide your path

And the stars will lead the way

I find out that we aren’t all heartless

Love and kindness, you can do this

Your emotions are raw and defined

Your life is still a blank canvas

Paint a lullaby and travel a thousand journeys

Feed of courage, can you see the opportunities?

I’m dazzling with endless determination

Stop the bleeding, heal the bruises, the cold helps

Love will heal what words can’t

My letters are the center of reflection

I’ll get you in first gear

A verse written so sincere

Understanding can melt an iron heart

Love glues together whatever broke apart

See the road appear throughout the fog

Can you hear the serene calling?

Tame that wild horse, or let it break free

Sanity is overrated, creativity takes its toll

Fire can be put out with water, so go ahead

In the dark you can still fight

Even tell wrong from right

Where history lies behind me

The future is calling for me

So spread those wings and set yourself free

Even if it means living a life on the edge of sanity…

Now hit that like button…. Alex

The Beautiful, the Bad and the Psychotic

Part 1

Alex & Just Patty

My life has gone too far,

A nice new start,

A wiped clean slate,

A white clear page,

I had to touch it and muck it up,

Can’t fight fear with fate.

My emotions are intangible,

Inflammable oceans ferociously,

Force me at such velocity,

To cause harm or go to sleep,

I’ve lost my calm now I have been tossed out on the streets.

Mark my words this is hell I’m living in,

My dark clouds are circling the ceiling,

A problem child that no one is dealing with,

I am a wild flower which grows in the shadows of a kiss.

These words are my own,

Geronimo, I will die alone,

A cannonball, I can’t fly no more,

An animal, what do I fight for when the fight has gone?

You and I know,

This is not a suicide note,

But if your eyes caught, a mere glimpse,

Of a pure light wrote,

Then my job here is done,

For your time and hope.

Your life has just begun

A new day’s dawn

A beautiful opportunity

A fresh untouched chance

There will always be a tomorrow

To fight fear, courage is the key

Untangle the mess inside

Chains that hold you furiously

Without a sense of empathy

Invading dreams or keep you up

Out there, at least you will be able to breathe

You are the one holding yourself back

Clear the air so you can survive

A problem is only a problem before you deal with it

Wild flowers grow strong on barren land

Words can a heart turn into stone

But no one is ever truly alone

A bullet, reserved for thoughts hunting you

A different chosen path, would you dare?

You and I know

Only the strong know how to cope

So if you look up, and you will catch

A glimpse of what can be

Hope grows on light

But those living in the dark

Can never see…
